Cheeseburger Soup
1 1/2 c, water
2 c. potatoes, peeled and cubed
Onion, chopped to taste
1 T. beef bullion granules (or your own seasoning)
1/2 t. salt
1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
2 1/2 c. milk, divided
3 T. flour
1/4 t. pepper
8 oz. American cheese, cubed.
Combine first six ingredients and boil for 15 - 20 minutes.
Stir in cooked ground beef and 2 cups milk, heat through
Combine flour, pepper and 1/2 c. milk. Add this to the other
ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened.
Stir in cheese until melted.
When serving, top with crumbled bacon, shredded cheese,
and chopped dill pickles, (optional)
