Pat Knobel's Sheetcake Brownies

Boil together:

2 sticks butter

1 C water

4 rounded T cocoa

Meanwhile, mix together:

2 C sugar

2 C flour

1 t soda

pinch of salt

Stir dry ingredients fast into hot cocoa mix, then add:

2 eggs

1/4 C buttermilk or sour milk (you can sour milk with 1/2 t vinegar)

1 t vanilla

Bake on greased jelly roll pan 15 minutes only at 350 degrees. Spread with chocolate icing with nuts.
