Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg 
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. vanilla

Cream together the butter and sugars.
Add the egg and peanut butter, mix well
Add the dry ingredients and mix well
Stir in the vanilla

Roll into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet
(or use parchment paper).
Press flat with a fork dipped in sugar, criss-cross
Bake at 375 degrees for 13 minutes.
