Noodles

1 beaten egg
1/2 t. salt
2 T.  cream, half and half, or plain milk
1 c. sifted flour
pinch baking powder

Beat egg and milk together,
Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
Make a well in the center and add the liquid.
Stir with a fork working outward from the middle.
Gather into a ball and put on a floured surface.
Roll out as thin as possible and cut with a noodle cutter.
(or roll the sheet of dough up and cut small strips)
Separate the noodles and sprinkle with flour.
They can sit on the counter and dry for along while
or overnight. Or you can cook them immediately.

Drop into boiling broth stirring to keep from sticking
together.
