Apple Cake Alta Sharp
1 C. oil
1 3/4 C sugar
3 eggs
1/2 t. salt
4 or 5 medium apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 t. soda in 2 T. hot water
1 t. cinnamon
2 C. flour
1 C. chopped nuts
Mix as any cake, adding nuts & apples last. Pour into 9 x 13 pan.
Topping:
1/2 C. light brown sugar
1/2 C. chopped nuts
Sprinkle over batter and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
